The magic that the nurturing of a seed to the flowering of a plants life has inspired this series of still-life embroideries using hand dyed fabrics with machine and hand stitch, that try to capture their ‘bloom’ moment. The backdrops to the pot and vase have been created through the over-layering of silk organza to reflect a more 'painterly' setting.
